Ed Becker's music covers a wide range of styles from contemplative acoustic songs for Eucharistic adoration to high energy rock concerts. Over the past 30 years, he has led thousands of teens and young adults in song and worship at events such as the NFCYM conference in Denver, The Eucharistic Congress in Washington DC, and youth Masses at Kings Dominion and 6 Flags Amusement Parks. His first two CDs, "For Sinners Only" and "What Precious Love", were nationally distributed by Heartbeat Records and were played worldwide on the EWTN radio network. In 2016 he independently released a 6 song EP of music for Eucharistic Adoration titled "In His Presence". The successful release of "In His Presence" was followed in 2017 and 2020 by "Psalms Volume 1" and "Psalms Volume 2". These very singable contemporary Psalm settings have been well received by congregations throughout the country. Mr. Becker has served as music director at several parishes in the DC/MD/VA area in a variety of full-time, part-time and volunteer positions. In addition to his musical endeavors, Mr. Becker holds a Graduate Certificate in Sacred Scripture from Catholic Distance University after earning most of his undergraduate theology credits through the Franciscan University Distance Learning program. He currently lives in Springfield, VA with his wife Tina, their daughter Melanie, and their cat Sasha.
